Monochrome - photos that have only a single colour, with variations of that hue in different tints and shades.

This was the theme of our second competition of the year. A tricky topic for many, finding the perfect subject to bring the shot to life with a limited colour palette. Geoff Reader was our judge for the night. Geoff gave us lots of hints and tips on what he felt made a good monochrome shot and reminded us all of the importance of making sure our blacks were black and our whites white.

Feeling a little under the weather and not wanting to share my germs, I zoomed in. This is the beauty of a multi access club, being able to go in person or zoom in. Several of our members are avid travelers so this works well for them.

The quality of images was amazing and as we cycled through the entries, I felt proud to be part of such an amazing club. I would not have liked the the task of picking a winner.
